General AC motor does not use constant magnetic field, so there is no need for commutator, there is no need for brush; However, the volume of AC motors is generally relatively large. The motors used by household appliances are generally AC motors, such as fans, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc., without carbon brushes, but there are also DC motors that use DC motors, such as many electric shavers, kitchen appliances, electric bicycles, etc., which have carbon brushes, that is, DC motors (excluding brushless ones).
